I'm boring

Not much going on ‘round these parts.

I’ve done nothing exciting. I’ve hung out at home. Sunday we had family over. It was my SIL’s birthday so we brought in lunch and had ourselves a good ol’ time. Just recently we bought an above the ground pool and so we enjoyed that to the fullest. I had so much fun. I haven’t laughed that hard in the longest time. My nieces and nephew are the cutest ever! I can’t wait until my other nephew comes over and gets in. I love to see the kids faces when they come up from under water. Their little eyes are so cute.

I bought some prints and had them framed for the babies room. Wanna see? Okay here they are:




I’m not doing the room the traditional blue for boy, no trains, no plains, no automobiles. Just our style. We want Diegito to be surrounded by his culture from birth. Well from coming home from the hospital at least. We’re painting the room Orange Spice although I just found two other colors that I had thought of originally but will have to go check them out. Melon and Canteloupe. I wanted a color resembling cantaloupe to begin with but saw nothing at HD. Sorry don’t mean to bore you. I can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s finished.

I’ve been blogging for a year. Yeah me. It was actually a year about 2 weeks ago but I just now remembered.

It’s Alfonso’s 4th day at a new job. Wish him luck. I know he’ll do fine. I just know the anguish and the self doubt that comes with having a new job.
