It's Gettin' Hot in Herrre....

Well it’s official, we’ve moved. We haven’t unpacked completely but hey when does that ever happen. It’s like Christmas for us right now. Every time we open a box it’s like the first time we’ve seen it. We have enough kitchen appliances to open a restaurant.

My friends and I decided it’d be great to have some drinks while they helped me pack. Ahem, not such a good idea. It wasn’t so much fun to move with a hangover in 120 degree heat. I wanted to run thru the house nekkid and run in the pool. Too bad we don’t have one. Too great for you that you now have a visual (I’m mean). Alfonso stayed up all night preparing the house for the carpet, tile cleaning that was going to happen while we moved. We were in bed on a Saturday night by 7 pm. We were tired!

Remember that chandelier I told you about? Well I think we hit the 500 mark and that was Alfonso alone. He only has one eye now and walks with a limp. I like to call him “Pirate”. Arggg. Matey. My friend JE bought us a beautiful candelabra that will replace this chandelier. If you want the chandelier let me know, I’ll sell it to you for a mere $1.50, we can negotiate.

Oh my gosh, I just heard that in some parts it was 124 degrees yesterday. Is that legal? Shouldn’t we have sun days? I don’t think we should be allowed to leave our homes in that kind of heat.

So back to the house, the orange in the living room looks really good. Some folks may not like it but it completely fits our personalities.

Alfonso is so proud of his house. I cried when we shut the garage door to our apartment for the very last time. We both sat and cried on Saturday thinking about how much we’ve done during the 9 months we’ve been married. How much we’ve grown together and how we’ve achieved so many things on our list of goals. So many times I hear that the 1st year is the hardest and it really hasn’t been for us. I don’t know what people’s definition of hard is though. We didn’t live together prior and we both never lived with anyone else. Getting used to each other has been cake. Sure we’ve had bumps but those bumps have united us. I don’t like it when people make snide remarks when I say nice things about him, for example, “He washes if I cook and vice versa”, people’s remarks “well that’ll change”. No it won’t change and keep your negative comments to your self futhermuckers. I lub him.

Pet peeves: People who say they’re going to do something and don’t do it (call you back, come over, etc.), when you send e-mails to people and they skip over them and respond to others you sent after but you know damn well it’s because they just don’t want to respond to your honesty, If you don’t want to answer, say “I don’t want to answer you bitch” or “It’s none of your business” or “Thank you for your inquiry however, at this time I have no answers”. That’s all. Those are just some. There’s not enough time to cover all of them.
