My friend regarding my baby shower: "Even if I was unemployed (God forbid) had no car and nothing to give you that day, I would make stuff from scratch and take the bus (with the dollar I borrowed from my mom) just to make it the best shower in the world"
When someone says something like this to you first thing in the morning it's the makings of a beautiful day and the start of a wonderful weekend.
