Mamase, Mamasa, Mamacoosa

Friday was Jen’s birthday party. Nancy and I were the first to get there well besides Bad A** Bakin’ Bets (I’ll get to that later). Betsy is Jen’s mom. She helped Jen make the awesome food. On the menu were: Egg Rolls, Fried Rice and Artichoke dip that I think was quiche but they insisted it was Artichoke Dip. It was damn good, that’s all I know.

Jen had 2 cakes. One lemon and one carrot. Nancy volunteered to make the lemon cake for those people who did not like carrot cake.

T made the carrot cake.

Nancy didn't know what to wrap her cake in so she let it bounce around her backseat, then she carried it in like it was her baby all wrapped by her arm. Both cakes were really good.

To start off the party we all got name tags. Not with our names but porn names. Nancy was (cover your eyes if you don’t want to be tainted) C**k suckin’ Candy, Jen was Anal Annie, I was Pimpsta Patty and I can’t remember the rest. Betsy had the clean name as we’d feel awkward calling someone’s momma dirty names. You had to call everyone by their porn name or you had to take a drink. After the 1st 15 minutes, we all forgot that we were playing this game.

We had some guest appearances. Jen’s Brother, Uncle, Aunt and Cousin. It was a really good time. It was a girls night/pajama jammy jam.

There was dancing. A lot of it. So much of it in fact that they did their own rendition of the Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” video. Quite entertaining. The battery ran out on my camera so I can’t show it to you. It plays quite vividly in my mind though. The neighbor from across the street came out and told us to shush. Jen’s lives in the Barbie community. Remember the Barbie townhouse? Jen lives in a community with a lot of those. I think if you look down from a helicopter it looks like Mr. Roger’s neighborhood. Once we shut the door there was a knock and Jen ran as fast as the gingerbread man up the stairs because she thought it would either be the neighbors or the cops. It was neither. It was a stripper. Just kidding. It was K’s husband.

The campers were starting to get tired so one by one they went down. We ran out of room to sleep so someone had to sleep on a raft.

Jen, Nancy and I slept downstairs to the sounds of the sprinkler watering Jen’s tree. Nancy slept with a hoodie on and the hood was on her head because we were in the Antarctica. At one point I woke up and I was sleeping on top of her. I think we were trying to keep warm. Actually, I think Nancy pulled me towards her because she wanted to spoon but that’s neither here nor there.

I woke everyone up at 6ish. I was a little sickish. I went home a little after 7 am. Had some Menudo and tried to take a nap.

I love you Jen, I hope you enjoyed your birthday. I did!!
