Sacrificios

Hola amigos y amigas! I hope you had a great weekend. I did. It was very relaxing.

I made a promise to myself that I’m going to let you in on. I made the promise a little late for lent but wanted to do it anyway. Ready for what the promise is… No drinking. Drinking gives me hang overs and when I’m hung over I get nothing done at my house. I can’t do it anymore. I like to keep my house clean and organized. Drinking is keeping me from doing that. Also, when I drink I like to smoke. I think it’s the smoking that makes me not feel well the next day. For lent and a few days after, there will be no drinking or smoking. If this works for me it will be until at least Thanksgiving. That’ll give me two more things to be thankful for. Wish me luck. So far, so good. Remember, I’m making me a priority. This is one of those things to help me.

I wanted to go on a date with Alfonso on Friday. Didn’t happen. I was exhausted. We had dinner and went to my mami’s house. Came back home and went to bed.

Saturday Alfonso worked. I did some laundry and got some things done around the house. Alfonso came home and we napped. We got up, I showered. We went and ran some errands and then Jen came over. We did some stuff for her Mom. Jen left. I was bored so I called my SIL. We talked for a while. By that time it was 11ish. I went to lay in bed. Couldn’t fall asleep. Then Alfonso came to bed. I went to sleep after 12.

Sunday woke up at 6 am. I can’t sleep in for the life of me. I got up. I made breakfast. I did some more stuff around the house and did some more laundry. We watched, Just Friends. Not a very good movie. That’s just my opinion though. Baby Joey came over and we played for a while until his ma and pa came and picked him up. I made some food and took it over to my mami’s house for Sunday dinner. We ate. We went home and I was asleep by 9:30.

Sunday we also noticed that some felons spray painted sh** on Alfonso’s truck. Bastards.

That was my weekend. WOO HOOO! Party time!

Good luck with the no drinking thing. You can do it. And it'll probably save you some money too.

Lent...
I've given up on giving up :)
I prefer to do "good", not "chismear" and such- to be a "better" person and really try to pray/meditate.

No drinking or smoking...SUERTE!

Cuidate!

Hi Golightly!! My promise is going to be until the end of lent. If I notice a significant change in my organizational skills I'll make it until Thanksgiving. I can't not drink during the holidays. That's what the holidays are all about right? ;-)
